Do you offer payment plans? 

Yes, I want this to be as accessible, manageable and achievable as possible.

There are two different payment plan options for us to work out that best fits your circumstances and ensures that your course is fully paid for by the end of the thirteen month period to ensure to you can graduate and receive your qualification.

The payment plan must ensure each unit fee is covered before the unit release date prior to gaining access to the learning information.​

 

How long does the course take?

The course will run over 15-16 months with scheduled clinic days and catch up integration days. These allow students to come and practice &/or catch up on any outstanding work and practice completing a full protocol balance under supervision with support for questions and clarification.​

 

Is there any homework?

Yes. There are student activities journals (SAJ) that need to be completed for each unit.

 

The student assessment journals will be able to be partially completed outside of class (preferably before the practical class) and during the practical class.

 

Each student assessment journal is due at the beginning of the next unit.

E.g. Unit 1 – BKP 101 Student Assessment Journal is due at the beginning of class for Unit 2 – BKP 102.

The length of the Student assessment journals vary from unit to unit and are designed to help consolidate information, techniques and provide practical application of knowledge.​

 

Do I have to attend all classes?

It is strongly recommended that you attend all practical classes. The more practice you can get in class under supervision, the more confident and comfortable you will be when you are seeing paying clients.

However, I know life happens! I encourage you to catch up with your class mates when you can, and attend the practice days to ensure you catch up on anything you have missed.

Will I have a qualification when I’m finished?

Yes! Once you have paid for your course in full and satisfactorily completed each Student Assessment Journal you will be awarded with your Level 1 in Kinesiopratic from CQ School of Kinesiology  – Faculty member for the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice (ICPKP)

I haven’t studied for a long time will I be confident to do this?

 

Yes absolutely. Many students return to study after a long break. This course is taught quite differently in the way of hands on learning. Theory is integrated into practice rather than long paragraphs of information to memorise. Learning is supported through repetition, discussion, movement, and real world application. You are encouraged to learn in the way that works best for you and we do our best to accomodate various learning styles and to make complex elements easy to understand.

What is the weekly study demand?

Study demands are designed to be flexible and manageable. Outside of class days, students spend time:
 

• Reviewing online learning materials (watching demonstration videos and webinars which you can always refer back to)

• Reading course content

• Practicing techniques with each other / volunteers

• Completing Student Activities Journals

• Open book quizzes at the end of units (10 questions)
   

 

Do I need first aid training?

Yes. Students are required to complete a current First Aid and CPR Certificate during their Level One studies. This is required to be arranged independently and supports readiness for student practice and clinic participation. This is also a requirement for many insurances ongoing.
 

 

Is this course an RTO/AQR Qualification?

No. This course is not delivered under the Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) framework and does not lead to a nationally recognised AQF qualification.
 

 

Instead, this training follows the Professional Kinesiology Practice (PKP™) framework developed by the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice (ICPKP ®) and forms part of an internationally recognised professional training pathway in Kinesiopractic ®.

 

Upon successful completion in Level One, students receive an international certificate in Professional Kinesiology Practice, issued through the ICPKP ® framework.
 

 

This certification is recognised by the International Institute of Complementary Therapies (IICT) allowing graduates to apply for professional registration and practitioner insurance through IICT, subject to their membership requirements.

What tools do I need to study?

 

You will need an Ipad or Samsung device to access the Kinesiology + app.

 

The Kinesiology + App houses all of the most up to date text books, the ICPKP finger mode data base and ICPKP information.

You will use this for all of your Text books and Student assessment journals.​

You will also need this when accessing the database that you will use with working as a Kinesiologist in the future.

​​

Other materials include basic stationary for note taking or jotting down key factors you want to remember.​

Access to a massage table for home practice as you progress through the course.

​​

Further guidance will be provided as you move through the program.​

 

How much money do Kinesiologists make?

 

This varies a lot, whilst of course you want to have a profitable business and support yourself and family, I encourage you not to get caught or attached to this as when you focus on the client connection, the results speak for themselves.

 

New Graduate Kinesiologists can charge anywhere from $80 - $100 per client.​

 

Fully qualified Kinesiologists can charge between $120 - $150 Per client.

​​

Senior Kinesiologists can charge between $150 - $300 per client.

​

 

Where are the classes run?

Once we both agree that this is the course for you, your enrolment will be processed. You will be required to pay your deposit to secure your enrolment.
